Friday 22nd September - London --> Amsterdam

Flew into Amsterdam. Charls lost (temporarily) her passport (on the plane!!).

Trouble with trains (we go the wrong way...). 15 min journey takes over an hour!!

Hard to find hotel - no one knows the streets of amsterdam.
Very small room, no toilet, smells like stale weed!

Dinner at 11:30 at the leidesplan. Burgers and chips. V. touristy.

Sounds bad, but was a good first day!!

The Plan!

So here was the original plan of what to do.....
* Fly into Amsterdam on Friday 22nd
* Stay there for a few days
* Go down to Brussels for the 25th and 26th
* Arrive in Munich on the 27th.
* 28th Oktoberfest!!
* 29th off to Salzburg for at least 2 days. Might do some day
trips. No sound of music tours though!
* Maybe to Vienna for a little while?
* Prague for 2 or 3 days
* Maybe a day or two out to Dresden
* Down to Budapest for a few days - possibly stopping of at
Bratislava on the way
* Down Ljubljana (maybe through Zagreb, maybe through Zagreb on
the way back?)
* Out to Bled and the surrounding national park area
* Back down to Sarajevo
* Down to Dubrovnik, via Mostar
* Hang around in Dubrovnik and relax, possibly go out to some of
the islands
* Fly back to London on the 21st!
