Flew into Amsterdam. Charls lost (temporarily) her passport (on the plane!!).
Trouble with trains (we go the wrong way...). 15 min journey takes over an hour!!
Hard to find hotel - no one knows the streets of amsterdam.
Very small room, no toilet, smells like stale weed!
Dinner at 11:30 at the leidesplan. Burgers and chips. V. touristy.
Sounds bad, but was a good first day!!
